How To Enroll

You may want to print out this page for future reference.  If all the text does not show up on the page, you may need to go to Page Setup under the File menu on your Internet Explorer and either:  (1) change the left and right margins to .25, or  (2) change the orientation to landscape.

STEP 1:  SET UP AN ACCOUNT

To enroll in any of the courses within the OnLine Training Institute, you must first register by clicking on New User? in the upper right corner of the page.  You can then login using the username and password you create as part of the Account Setup process. 

After you have set up an account, you will receive an email from EVAWI staff confirming your registration for the OnLine Training Institute.  If you do not receive an email message confirming your registration shortly after setting up an account, please contact EVAWI staff at (509) 684-9800 or HelpDesk@evawintl.org. (Office hours are: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm PST.)

ENROLL IN  MODULES

Once you have set up an account and logged in to the OnLine Training Institute, you are able to enroll in the modules. To do so, simply go to the My Account page or the OLTI HOME page and click on the word “Enroll” next to the title of the courses on the list provided.  Please note that you can enroll in as many modules as you want at one time -- you do not have to enroll in each module separately.

STEP 2:  AVAILABLE COURSES 

To see a list of the training modules that are currently available within the OnLine Training Institute, please click on the tab for Courses above or see the My Account page.  For a detailed description of any training module, simply click on the title of the course on the My Account page or the course number on the Courses page. 

To enroll in any of the training modules, go to the My Account page after you have set up an account and logged in to the OnLine Training Institute.  Then click on the word “Enroll” next to the title of the course(s) that you want. 

STEP 3:  TRACK YOUR STATUS IN COURSES 

Once you have set up an account for the OnLine Training Institute, and logged in using your username and password, the status of your progress in each course will be indicated on the My Account page.  To enroll in any course(s), simply click on the word Enroll next to the title(s). 

STEP 4:  WORK THROUGH COURSE MATERIAL 

Once you begin a course, you can work at your own pace and take breaks whenever you want.  To exit a training module, click on Exit Course at the bottom of the page.  To resume, return to the My Account page and click on Continue next to the title of the course you are completing. 

  • You can also jump forward or back within the module, by clicking on the Section Index tab on the left side of the screen.  The course outline will appear, and you can click on the section that you wish to jump to.
  • To print a PDF version of any course, click on the word Download in the PDF column to the right of the course title, on the My Account page.  You may want to print out the PDF document before you begin, to review while you work through the course.
STEP 5:  DOWNLOAD CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION 

Once you have completed a course, you will have the opportunity to download a personalized certificate of completion.  The status box on the My Account page will indicate that this course is Completed.  At any point afterward, you can view your certificate by clicking on View in the Certificate column. However, you will no longer be able to go back into the course itself. To review a training module after completing the end-of-course test, you will need to print out the PDF document by clicking on Download in the PDF column to the right of the course title, on the My Account page.
